Vegan soul food that taste delicious. Good size portions and friendly staff. Definitely worth the trip up to Germantown. By far the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. It's made with soy milk. Can't wait to go back.

My SO and I had the Jerk Drumsticks and Tofu in curry from here. This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The food is incredible and fast. We will definitely be going back!

The food definitely hit the spot the food is good and the environment is nice, clean and very welcoming. I am a vegan and they did not disappoint. They also have a store where they sell African Art, books, games and a lot of unique things you won't find anywhere else. Support Black owned businesses like this one!

All vegan restaurant with food that would satisfy anyone's craving. I had pepper steak, collard greens and rice/peas. Also left with a piece of delicious cake. Great food, great service, will definitely be back.

Delicious! I tried their food while attending a hair show and I was a little skeptical at first it being vegan and all (no offense) but the lemon chicken, rice and beans was excellent!!! The portion size was ample and the spices were beautiful. I was very pleased!!

A long long time ago, when I had a different job in Philly, the proprietor made me a take out order when I happened in one day on my route. The food was amazing and I wasn't even vegan. I hope to come back someday when I travel back east. If you're in the neighborhood check them out!

Amgreat vegan food and desserts. Plan on an empty stomach, they give you a whole ton of food. Small space and not much for seating is probably a better bet for take out then dining in.

Do not allow the negative reviews to deter you. I came in here expecting to encounter mean staff. The cook was really nice and answered my questions without hesitation. He prepared my food fast as well. I also appreciate that there weren't any buddha statues. I don't know why some vegan restaurants think they have to decorate with buddha stuff. My food was flavorful. I'm not a fan of brown rice but it was delicious. My tip is to ask the cook questions if you have any!

First time at this vegan resturant and i was satisfied. The service was very good. These young guys can really cook. The food was awesome. I had the ginger chicken brown rice and cabbage and the beef patty. The chicken was perfect not to sweet with the perfect amount of sauce. And the cabbage was seasoned like big momma did back in the day. And to top it off the beef patty was the moat flavorful patty i had with a very flaky crust. It was so good I didnt mind the flakes falling everywhere. Lol it was so good i brought 2 platters to go and share with the family. I definitely will be back!
